The third annual German film festival will be held in six Vietnamese cities and towns including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang from September 6 to October 8.
The festival, first organized by Vietnam-based Goethe Institute in 2010, has been one of the institute’s most popular cultural programs.
This year the event comes to Nha Trang for the first time.
The festival will present ten recent films starring well-known German actors, with themes such as family, identity, love, passion, friendship and responsibility.
The screenings are scheduled to take place from September 6 – 13 in Hanoi; September 13 – 16 in Hai Phong and Hue; September 8 – 11 in Da Nang; September 28 – October 4 in Ho Chi Minh City; and September 20 – 24 in Nha Trang.
