The Binh Dinh People’s Committee has just granted a licence to Thinh Phat Joint-Stock Company to build a garment plant in Phu Cat District, Binh Dinh.
According to the investor, the project will cost nearly VND 100 billion and cover an area of nearly 42,000 square metres in Cat Trinh Commune.
Under the plan, the project will be finished by December 2011 and the plant can be operational in December.
Local officials said that the project will create thousands of jobs for local labours, which will then improve people’s lives and promote socio-economic development for one of the Province’s poorest localities.
According to the Company’s estimates, the plant will make 468,000 men’s suits and 3,369,600 other garment products.
