PANO – An artistic exchange, themed “The memories of young age”, will take place at Au Co Art Centre, 8 Huynh Thuc Khang, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, on October 15th by the Central Committee of Propaganda and Education, the Union of Former Young Volunteers and Vietnam Television.
The event is part of activities to reflect good traditions of Vietnamese people such as “When drinking water, remember who dug the well” of “showing gratitude” and to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the day when President Ho Chi Minh presented a historic poem to the young volunteers, the 61st founding anniversary of Vietnamese Young Volunteers and the Vietnamese Women’s Day.
Last year, the program presented 1,000 saving books, 1,000 gifts and three houses of gratitude to needy former young volunteers.
As planned, the organising panel this year will present 1,000 saving books, 30 houses of gratitude and 950 gifts to needy former female young volunteers nationwide .
The program will be broadcast live on VTV2 and VTV4.
