The festival came to an end at Trung Vuong Theatre in Da Nang City and was broadcast live on VTV1 and VTV Da Nang on December 21 st 2011.
Beside the award to the most outstanding television works of 2011, the closing ceremony of the festival also helped the audiences evaluate the results as well as the activities of the people who work in television nationwide this year.
According to the organising board’s evaluations, the quality of the works which participated in this festival are fairly equal, the gap between the television stations has been narrowed. Many works addressed worthy topics and invested much time and energy into content and form.
Journalist Hoang Thuyen from the Quang Ngai Television commented: “The organising board and the board of examiners were more explicit and the awarded works are more deserved than the past years”.
In nearly 600 works belonging in 8 categories, the organising board of the national television festival 31 st awarded 27 gold prizes, 57 silver prizes and 147 certificate of merit to outstanding works. Moreover, the organising board also honoured 6 works which explored the moral teachings of Ho Chi Minh.
The National Television Festival 32 nd will be held in Vinh City, Nghe An province, at the end of 2012./.
