PANO – A ceremony to mark the 90th anniversary of establishment and development of Dai Tu District (August 1st) and get the third-class Labor Medal was held on August 1st in Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen Province.
Over the past 90 years, Dai Tu District gained various achievements in politics, economy, socio-culture and national defense and security. Especially, Dai Tu District focused on mobilising and effectively using all resources to ensure high growth rate and good economic structure shift as well as attract more investment to build better its socio-economy.
Addressed the ceremony, Chairman of Dai Tu District People’s Committee Nguyen Hai Duong stressed that over 25 years of implementing renovation, the district’s economy has achieved high growth rate and local people’s life has improved. High-quality goods production has replaced monoculture and self-sufficiency with low productivity in agricultural production.
Tea has become a key tree to help develop Dai Tu’ s economy, and tea products from this district is increasingly more and more diverse, trusted and widely consumed in domestic and foreign markets.
Many large-scale projects with big investment have been put into operation, including a project to explore and process minerals in Phao Mountain or Quan Trieu Cement Company and An Khanh Thermoelectric Company.
Notably, socio-economic structure in the district is well developed, especially in building a road network in rural areas.
With its good successes over the past years, Dai Tu District is honorably granted the third-class Labor Medal from the Party and State.
