The Bac Ninh provincial Youth Union has just arrived at the remote area of Lang Son province and brought 5,000 sets of clothing and over 500 sets of books, notebooks, pens and other school supplies to present to children at the Thanh Loa Primary School in Cao Loc district, and children in the area of the Thuy Hung Settlement Youth Village Project.
This activity brings happiness and warmth to ethnic children in Lang Son province on the occasion of Tet.
In Thua Thien – Hue province: On January 24, the Thua Thien-Hue provincial Youth Union organized a program themed "Spring Tree 2011", to bring happiness to children and pupils in difficult condition in Hong Thuong and Hong Ha communes, A Luoi district, Thua Thien – Hue province.
The program is co-organized by Thanh Nien newspaper. One hundred gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, including cakes, jams and 400,000 VND, were presented to poor children in A Luoi district through this charitable program.
