Tata Young to dazzle Ho Chi Minh City

Thai-American pop sensation Tata Young will perform for the first in Ho Chi Minh City on February 26.

The singer, known for her provocative style and catchy songs, will sing some of her biggest hits like “Ready for Love” and “My Bloody Valentine” at the Hi-Fi Saigon nightclub in the District 1.

The 29-year-old, born to a Thai mother and American father, released her debut album Amita Tata Young in 1995 which sold more than a million copies in just five months.

She was chosen to sing "Reach for the Stars" at the 1998 Asian Games opening ceremony in Bangkok.

Young made her international debut in 2004 by releasing her first English album “I Believe” which sold more than one million copies around Asia, earning her the Recording Industry Association of Japan’s Best International Artist of the Year award in 2005.

Her six Thai and three English albums have so far sold more than 14 million copies.
