PANO - More than 100 young officers from the Tank-Armour Command took part in a talk show on July 10th, titled “Young officers to the country’s construction and defence”.
This is a practical activity for commanders of the Command to learn more about young officers’ feelings, moods and aspirations for suitable measures to improve the quality of these young officers in making contributions to the cause of the country’s construction and defence in this new period.
During the talk show, participants mentioned several difficulties affecting young officers in the Arm, including bad effects from the market economy, big gap between the rich and the poor, enjoyment lifestyle of part of social strata, and high intensity of military activities. Also, several preferential policies for the Army, especially for young officers, have not kept pace with rapid development of the society as well as their legitimate aspirations.
However, all young officers in the talk expressed their high determination to excellently fulfill their missions and contribute more their strength and intelligence to building the Command and the Army.
Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai, Commissar of the Command, emphasized that commanders of the Tank-Amour Command will create more favorable conditions for all young officers to work at best. In addition, every young officer needs to improve their ability, creativeness and solidarity as the best in the Arm.
