Artists with outstanding achievements in movies, music and comedies will be honored tonight at the 5th annual awards of the Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV).

The awards, to be held at HCMC’s HTV Theater, will be hosted by well-known model Binh Minh, song writer Sy Luan, actress Midu and MC Hong Phuong.
The ceremony will also be graced with the award presenting of models Vu Thu Phuong, Tranh Nhung and Thanh Hang as well as performances of popular singers My Tam, Dam Vinh Hung, Ho Ngoc Ha and Hien Thuc.
Started in 2006, the HTV awards this year will give out a new one to artists who actively participate in HTV-run charity and social events.
The show will be broadcast live on HTV9 at 8.30pm.
