The US toy market has for the first time seen the presence of a Vietnamese toy company as TOSY Robot Joint-Stock Company participated in the international Toy Fair held in New York, the USA from February 13th to 16th.
The Toy Fair is the largest and long-lasting event of the US toy sector.
2011 is the 108th time, the event has been held with the participation of more than 1,000 companies from 85 nations and drew some 10,000 visitors.
The Vietnamese toy company brought its three hi-tech toys, namely AFO flying sauce, TOOP humming-top and TOSY fire ring, of which the AFO flying sauce has been famous for several years and exported to a number of countries, while the TOOP humming-top was introduced for the first time.
During the toy fair, the products of the company drew much attention from visitors and large international toys providers.
“I have been impressed with the unique hi-tech products. The prices are so reasonable, so they could be competitive in the US toy market,” said President of Waboba, a large toy provider in Northern American, Mr. Jeff Newkirk.
According to TOSY General Director, his company’s participation was successful and the company received a proposal from a US large toy provider to become an exclusive TOSY toys provider in the US market.
