Prime Miniser names seven new deputy ministers
HA NOI — Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Friday signed decisions to appoint seven new deputy ministers.
Pham Minh Chinh, general director of the General Department of Logistics and Technique under the Ministry of Public Security; To Lam, general director of the General Department of Security No 1; Pham Quy Ngo, general director of the General Department of Criminals Prevention and Fighting under the same ministry, were assigned deputy ministers.
Hoang Van Thang, former director of the Department for Works Construction and Mangement under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, was appointed deputy minister of the ministry.
Chu Ngoc Anh, former director of the Technology Application and Development Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, was appointed deputy minister of the ministry.
Tran Tuan Anh, former vice chairman of Can Tho City's People's Committee and Hoang Quoc Vuong, former vice chairman of Thai Nguyen Province's People's Committee, were appointed deputy ministers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Cambodia meeting plans boost in bilateral exchanges
PHNOM PENH – Bilateral exchanges between Viet Nam and Cambodia should be further strengthened to tackle arising problems and facilitate investment of Vietnamese businesses in Cambodia.
This was the decision by Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Huy Dong and General Secretary of Cambodian Development Council Sok Chan Da at a meeting in Cambodia yesterday.
During Dong's visit, the two sides reviewed Viet Nam investment projects in Cambodia. Dong also raised difficulties that Vietnamese businesses faced and proposed that Cambodia tackle them. Cambodian representatives agreed to address the issues. — VNS
