National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center reported that storm Washi is currently headed towards the East Sea.

By 7am Saturday, the storm was centered 8.8 degrees north latitude and 122.5 degrees east longitude in waters off south of the Philippines. Wind gales of level 8-9 were moving at 62-88 kilometers an hour. Strong gusts measured at level 10-11.
The storm is forecast to move west northwest at 20-25 kilometers an hour within the next 24 hours. By 7am Sunday, it will locate 660 kilometers east northeast of the Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands with the same intensity.
Winds are expected to progressively strengthen in the southern and mid East Sea from today afternoon.
Besides, the present cold front has made waters off the central coast and northern parts of the East Sea rough, with strong northeasterly winds.
