Statues of Buddha to be introduced in Hanoi

PANO - An exhibition, “Himalayan Art and Culture”, will open at Gallery Module 7, Tay Ho District, Hanoi from December 4th to introduce a collection of 80 special art works, featuring the Himalayas and its culture including 14 Buddha statues incrusted with copper and gold and with gemstones attached.

PANO - An exhibition, “Himalayan Art and Culture”, will open at Gallery Module 7, Tay Ho District, Hanoi from December 4 th to introduce a collection of 80 special art works, featuring the Himalayas and its culture including 14 Buddha statues incrusted with copper and gold and with gemstones attached.

The exhibition is jointly organised by the Nha Nam Culture and Communication Company and Drukpa Vietnam on the occasion of the official visit of His Eminence Khamtrul Rinpoche to Vietnam.

These exhibits such as: tower, "Thangka" (also known as "Tangka", "Thanka" or "Tanka is a Tibetan silk painting with embroidery), and Mandala featuring the artistic and cultural values of Buddhism.

These exhibits are all from Nepal and made by leading craftsmen with spirit of Himalayans.
