State President Nguyen Minh Triet has sent his condolences to his Cuban counterpart Rául Castro Ruz.
In his letter to President Rául Castro Ruz, he expressed his sympathy for the victims of the down airliner in a mountainous area near the town of Guasimal in Sancti Spiritus province in central Cuba.
