(VOV) - State President Truong Tan Sang left Hanoi on October 11, beginning an official visit to India at the invitation of president Pratibha Devising Patil.
During the visit, Mr Sang will hold talks with top Indian leaders to discuss measures to increase relations between the two countries. They will also discuss preparations for the hosting of the Vietnam-India Friendship Year in 2012.
After India, President Sang will visit Sri Lanka from October 13-15.
