The Saigon Children’s Charity has a message for this year’s festive season: To spread the cheer, buy Christmas and New Year greeting cards made by poor students in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 4.

The cards feature colorful drawings done by students at the Thang Long Vocational Training School.

The school trains for free 420 students aged 12-19 in English, hospitality, art, photography, sewing, hairdressing, and computers.

Many of its former students now work in hotels, restaurants, and hairdressing salons around HCMC, making their way independently and successfully in the world.

Every card sold will contribute to bringing disadvantaged children a brighter future.

The cards cost VND15,000 (80 US cents) each and company logos and personal greetings can be printed on them on order.
