According to a press release on the website of the Hanoi-based Vietnam Puppetry Theater, co-organizer of the tour along with the Embassy of Spain in Hanoi, Melena Miranda Barcelo and Martin Ruiz Fernadez will perform the piece “Love of Worm and Butterfly”.
The 50-minute show will take audiences into the romantic world of the worm and butterfly, adapted from writer Gabriel Castilla's novel Telon de Cielo (Sky's Curtain).
The puppetry troupe, founded in 2000 in Argentina, has toured many countries in the world, then moved to Madrid in 2002.
The duo’s first show in Vietnam will take place at the Vietnam Puppetry Theater, 361 Truong Chinh Street, Hanoi on April 2, and in Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces on April 4 and 6 respectively.
