A Spanish man allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday.
Police in Thao Dien Ward, District 2, said Sainz Pinto Julio Antonio, 47, jumped from the fourth floor of the Phong Lan Hotel on Quoc Huong Street at around 7:20 a.m.
Other guests in the hotel were still sleeping at that time, they said.
The man’s temporary residence card issued by Vietnam’s Immigration Department shows his sponsoring agency is Greatree Industrial Corporation based in Binh Duong Province.
Police are investigating the death.
