The Southern Fruit Festival, at Suoi Tien Theme Park in District 9, will finish up on June 23, so don’t miss out.
The park has been transformed into a floating fruit market with over 70 stands/boats featuring more than 45 fresh fruits, including Hoang Gia Vinh Long Nam Roi grapefruit, Hoang Hau Long An dragon fruit, Luc Ngan lychee and Cai Mon Ben Tre durian.
There are also new categories of fruits like Vinh Hao grapes, Vinh Kim Tien Giang honey orange and Dang Van Ro green-skin pomelo and collections of more than 300 kinds of unique fruits at the festival. The highlight is a longevity dish which is a combination of flavors of over 30 different fruits.
The event also welcomes five art troupes from Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia, with traditional and modern cultural shows of every participating country being presented to locals.
