A number of Vietnamese artists will bring ‘the soul of Vietnam’ to the Vietnamese community in Russia in the artistic evening, “Vietnam in my heart”, to take place on June 2 nd in the Russia Art Performance Centre, Russia.
The event is part of activities to mark three years of Vietnamese community working at the Moscow Trade Centre in Russia.
The “Vietnam in my heart” program will start off with the song, “Thuong qua Viet Nam” (“Compassionate Vietnam”).
Divided into three parts, this program will entertain the Vietnamese community with various songs depicting the homeland of Vietnam, the Capital of Hanoi, such as “Que huong” (“Fatherland”) and “Hanoi mua vang nhung con mua” (“Hanoi in season without rain”).
Attentively, hit songs by participating artists will also be performed. Besides, artists will sing songs requested by audiences.
Program Director Tran Vi My said that some familiar images of Vietnam, including a clump of small bamboo, hammocks, bamboo bed, water jar, water ladle made of coconut shell and oil lamp would be installed on the stage. Such an event was to honour wonderful memories of the motherland of Vietnam.
