PANO - Doctors and nurses on Vietnam’s Song Tu Tay Island has successfully rescued a patient whose heart and lungs failed.
Doctor Le Hanh, Chief of Song Tu Tay infirmary said on April 10 th that the patient, Ho Duong, 36, was taken to the infirmary at mid-night of April 4 th when his heart and lung had failed due to chronic asthma.
After five minutes of intensive care, the patient recovered from the critical situation and the attack of asthma was over.
The patient, who lives on the Island, is receiving further treatment at the infirmary.
