HCMC – SonKim Fashion, an affiliate of SonKim Investment and Development Corp., and Jockey International, specializing in underwear fashion, on Friday announced renewed cooperation in developing Jockey brand underwear products in Vietnam and in ASEAN markets.
Ngo Tu Tam, brand manager of SonKim Fashion, said the two sides had signed a 15 year franchising contract and were planning the development of an online sales network targeting young people.
SonKim Fashion is surveying the market in Cambodia and the local company hopes to establish business there early next year, Tam told the Daily.
Jockey entered Vietnam in 2002 with the cooperation of SonKim Fashion. Jockey products are manufactured at SonKim’s factory in District 2, HCMC and are inspected by Jockey International.
SonKim Fashion manages over 80 Jockey shops in the country, mainly in HCMC, Hue, Vung Tau and Nha Trang.
