The Ministry of Education and Training, on March 23rd, officially announced six compulsory subjects at the annual high school graduation examination 2012 to be held from June 2nd to 4th, for full-time students.
They are literature, mathematics, foreign language, chemistry, history and geography. Multiple-choice test will be applied in foreign language and chemistry exams.
Students can choose either English, Russian, French, Germany, Chinese or Japanese for their exam.
However, students who do not follow the mainstream curriculum under the ministry-regulated programs or come from areas with disadvantaged learning conditions can do physics instead of foreign language.
Students of continuous training centres will sit exams in literature, maths, chemistry, history, geography and physics. Of which, physics and chemistry will use the multiple choice testing form.
