VGP - The Temasek Foundation of Singapore and the World Bank (WB) have agreed to fund a program on enhancing traffic management capacity and urban transport planning of the central city of Đà Nẵng.
Under a deal recently signed by the municipal People’s Committee and the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE), an arm of Temasek, SCE will send to the city a team of Singaporean experts to participate in building up a transport development plan for the city till 2030.
Besides, the Singaporean side and the local authorities will hold six training workshops on urban transport management and planning either in the city or in Singapore.
Temasek has agreed to fund the program 915,158 Singapore dollars, or VND 15.47 billion, and Đà Nẵng has pledged a reciprocal capital of VND 4.04 billion.
