VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese and Russian experts gathered at a scientific seminar on Moscow - Ho Chi Minh City high technology in Ho Chi Minh City on November 24.
Russian experts introduced many new Russian technologies in health care, clean energy, and construction materials and information related to technology transfer, and expert training.
Participants at the seminar also discussed measures to boost co-operation on science and technological transfer between Vietnam and Russia as well as between Moscow and Ho Chi Minh City.
They said to strengthen technological transfer between Moscow and Ho Chi Minh City, the two sides should step up information exchange, and devise better policies in line with the two countries’ regulations and international rules.
On the occasion, the two cities signed a proposal to exhibit achievements in technological transfer.
Phan Minh Tan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Science and Technology, said after the seminar the department will hold a meeting with businesses applying for technology transfer. He added that the Russia-Vietnam Bank is willing to provide capital for the programme.
