The Se San 4A Hydropower Plant’s third turbine, capable of generating 21 MW, officially merged into the national grid, according to the Se San 4A Hydropower Joint Stock Company, on November 3rd. The turbine is expected to generate 331 million KWh per year.
The VND 1.2 billion Se San 4A, the last plant of a terraced hydropower plant system on the Se San river, located in Ia O Commune, Ia Grai District, Gia Lai Province, consists of three turbines with a total capacity of 63 MW.
After being put into operation, the plant created jobs for more than 70 workers.
The Se San 4A’s three turbines officially generate electricity to partly secure the country’s energy demand in the upcoming time as well as make contributions to regulating water flow downstream on the Se San river.
