Savills, a property service provider, on Tuesday announced it has appointed Neil MacGregor as Savills Vietnam’s new managing director, who will oversee business at key offices in Hanoi and HCMC.
MacGregor will replace Brett Ashton who is leaving Vietnam after 17 years to take on a new role as director of Savills North America.
MacGregor has a degree in Land Economy (Honors), is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is an RICS Vietnam Committee Member.
He moved to Vietnam in 2001 and has worked as deputy managing director for Savills Vietnam since 2007, being responsible for the growth of the Savills investment team.
Jeremy Helsby, chief executive officer of Savills PLC, said in a statement that MacGregor’s
experience and track record make him the perfect candidate to lead Savills in one of the company’s key markets in the region.
