A secondary school, the Van Phu-Man Deok school, funded by the Republic of Korea, opened its doors in Van Phu commune, Viet Tri City, in the northern province of Phu Tho on May 2.
The school’s constructions started last May at a total cost of VND40 billion, including VND16 billion from the RoK’s Kim Man Deok Education Association.
The school, the first of its kind to be funded by the association, is on a 13,000 s.q. site and can accommodate 700 pupils.
The Van Phu-Man Deok school will enable pupils from Vietnam and the RoK to learn about the cultural and educational characteristics of both countries.
