Viet Nam Red Cross and Sai Gon-Ha Noi Eye Hospital yesterday signed a co-operation programme to strengthen community awareness on eye care for 2013-15.

They will provide eye examinations, disease screening, consultations and medicine, especially to the poor in Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho, Hoa Binh, Ha Nam, Bac Giang and Ha Noi.
A charity fund will be set up to support patient examination and treatment.-VNS
