The first World Choir Games will be held in the ancient town of Hoi An in Quang Nam province from March 16-20.

The event, involving nearly 1,000 amateur choirs and singers from Vietnam and other countries around the globe is organised by the German organisation Interkultur.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is currently working with Quang Nam leaders to prepare for the event.
