HCMC – The high-quality Vietnamese products fair 2012 will be kicked off in An Giang Province next Tuesday, featuring 500 booths of 160 enterprises.
During the six-day event, visitors will have the opportunity to get promotional products and join activities to celebrate International Women’s Day, March 8.
The Mekong Delta province has been regarded as a traditional market for local producers of high-quality products over the past ten years with throngs of people visiting the annual fair.
In preparation for the fair this year, the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Producers has supplied participating firms with an overall report on the markets so that they can prepare products and map out suitable market development plans.
The fair held by the association, Sai Gon Tiep Thi newspaper and An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center (ATIP) is the first in a series of high-quality products fairs 2012 aimed at helping firms develop markets in a year which is forecast to be full of difficulties.
“The high-quality Vietnamese products fair 2012 has many improvements compared to previous years. This year, the fair will be held in only six provinces but provide many business solutions to firms such as providing information about provincial markets, marketing and organizing charity programs,” said Vu Kim Hanh, chairwoman of the association.
