The large amount of pork was buried in Bien Hoa city’s Long Binh ward.

Earlier, the pork without legal certificates was found in front of a private house owned by Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong in the city’s Tam Hoa ward.

She told police she purchased the frozen meat from slaughterhouses and some companies but she failed to prove their origin.

After seizing the decayed meat, some officials suggested the pork could be processed into food for crocodiles but local authorities didn’t agree.
