On May 8th, the central Thua Thien – Hue provincial Study Association coordinated with Phu My Hung joint-stock company to present 140 scholarships to outstanding students from poor families.
Twenty scholarships, worth 1,000,000 VND for each, were given to poor students from Phu Xuan Private University and Hue Academy of Music. 120 scholarships, worth 500,000 VND for each, were presented to students from secondary schools in districts of Phu Vang and Huong Tra, Huong Thuy town and Hue city.
On May 7th, Civil Engineering Construction Corporation No. 5 (Cienco5) coordinated with the central Da Nang City Department of Education and Training to provide 480 scholarships worth 960 million VND to poor students in the city.
Vice chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee Van Huu Chien expressed appreciation for the practical work of Cienco5. He said these scholarships would help students from poor families to overcome difficulties and make their study dreams come true.
Earlier, on April 26th, the corporation presented 50 scholarships worth 500 million VND to outstanding poor students in the central province of Quang Nam./.
