President Truong Tan Sang appoints new deputy directors and prosecutors to the Supreme People’s Procuracy.
Addressing the ceremony, President Sang congratulated the recipients for their appointment to their new posts. The President also stressed that the appointments reaffirmed the Party and State’s commitments to provide favourable conditions for the sector’s development, especially in the national strategy to reform the judicial sector by 2020, as well as reflecting staff training, planning processes and individual efforts of the appointees.
The President also asked the sector to play an active part in protecting justice and human rights, as well as effectively fighting against crime and violations of the law and contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety.
He added that the sector should devise a project on renewing the organisational structure of People’s Procuracies at all levels, enhance personnel training and take an active part in reviewing the 20 years of implementation of the 1992 Constitution, focusing on areas relating to the procuracy sector in order to propose amendments and supplements to the Party and State.
Director of the Supreme People’s Procuracy Nguyen Hoa Binh and representatives of the sector expressed thanks to the Party and State’s support and promised that they would do their utmost to serve the nation and its people and fulfill all assigned tasks.
