(CPV) – On November 23rd, in Hanoi, 110 outstanding students were presented the “Mobifone for Vietnamese future” scholarship for the first stage.
They included 70 students and 40 pupils from schools, colleges and universities in 6 provinces and cities, including Hanoi, the northern provinces of Vinh Phuc, Ha Nam and Thanh Hoa, the central provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
The ceremony was held by the Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services Company – VMS (Mobifone).
In 2009, the first year to implement the scholarship programme, 1000 outstanding students were provided with such scholarships.
In 2010, the programme will provide 500 scholarships worth 1 million VND to students and pupils from 30 provinces and cities nationwide.
