Nhan Dan - Ho Chi Minh City has recorded many important achievements in developing the collective economic sector in the past years.
Politburo member and permanent member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) Secretariat Le Hong Anh made this statement on a June 29 working visit to Ho Chi Minh City to examine the implementation of the 9th CPVCC’s Resolution No.5 on the collective economic sector.
In the past 10 years, the collective economic sector has played an important role in the City’s socio-economic development and co-operative models have proved its efficiency in business and production. The Politburo member also praised the City’s efforts to remove difficulties for co-operatives and help them access preferential loans.
Politburo member Le Hong Anh stressed that the City should aim to help people better understand the role and benefits of co-operatives and create more favourable conditions for agricultural, service, environmental, credit, and housing co-operatives.
