PANO – The Phu Yen Provincial People’s Committee opened a local investment promotion conference 2011 at the Sao Viet International Conference Centre in Tuy Hoa City on September 2nd.
The meeting drew the participation of representatives of Ministries of Planning and Investment, and Culture, Sports and Tourism, and over 100 domestic and foreign businesses from Indonesia, Japan and Russia.
The participants were provided with information on the Province’s potentials, investment and cooperation prospects, policies and investment incentives; they also learned more about investment opportunities and business development.
Previously, a weeklong International Trade Fair for Central Provinces and Central Highlands was held in Tuy Hoa City on September 1st, with 470 stalls from 200 domestic and 22 foreign businesses from Japan, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, France and the UAE.
This was an important trade promotion event, held for the first time in Phu Yen, to help businesses introduce their products and services, seek investment opportunities and expand international integration activities for effective and sustainable economic development.
