A mobile exhibition, “Sea, Islands and Naval Troops-Tradition of Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea”, will open on September 12th in Ben Tre Province.
The event is jointly organised by the Department of Politics under Vietnam Naval Service and localities receiving weapons along Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea, including Hai Phong, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Tra Vinh, Can Tho and Ca Mau.
The exhibition aims to introduce the heroic tradition of Vietnam People’s Navy in the cause of national liberation and national sovereignty over islands, seas and the continental shelf.
Besides, feats of arm of troops of camouflaged ships will be highlighted as well.
The exhibition is part of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea, October 23rd.
