PSD parts with Nokia, teams up with Samsung

PetroSetco Distribution (PSD), a unit of PetroSetco, last Friday struck an agreement with Samsung Vina to distribute Samsung phones in Vietnam after parting with Nokia. Samsung mobile phones can now be found at 1,700 agents of PSD in 11 of the nation’s 63 cities and provinces. Statistics of IDG show that by May 2012, Samsung had held 53% mobile phone market share in Vietnam, a staggering rise from 14% in November last year.
