Nhan Dan – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has asked sectors to publicise the petrol and oil retail price calculator, which is now an issue of public concern.
The PM called for close co-operation between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to carefully examine and monitor retail price adjustments by oil and gas enterprises to ensure they are in line with Government Decree No 84/2009/ND-CP on trading petrol and oil issued on October 15, 2009.
He also asked relevant agencies to co-ordinate in managing and controlling the price of petrol and oil to address emerging problems that could cause price fluctuations in the market and negatively affect consumers.
