Gabriel Tran Phuong Nam, aged 20, a French of Vietnamese origin, will have solo performance at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory on July 8 th .
The young pionist will entertain Vietnamese audience with classic works, such as Gaspard de la nuit, Sonate 24, Fantaisie-Impromptu, op.49, Nocturnes, op.9 by famous composers Maurice Ravel, Beethoven and Chopin.
Born in France, Nam started playing piano at the age of 6 and is studying at Paris National Conservatory. He has participated in several international piano competitions and won many prizes.
This is the second time that Gabriel Tran Phuong Nam has solo performance and his 10th performances in various countries for charitable purpose since 2009.
This time, he will grant all money from selling tickets to Cao Thuong infirmary in Dakbla commune, Kon Tum province in Vietnam.
