Over VND 367 billion expected to be spent on revolutionary contributors’ gifts

The Hanoitimes - The Ministry of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has submitted to the State President an amount of VND 367 billion to begift contributors to the revolution. Worth between VND 200,000 – 400,000 each the gifts will be received o­n the 65th anniversary of the wounded soldiers’ and martyrs’ day (July 27). According to the MOLISA proposal, the presents worth VND 400,000 each will be given to some groups of people, including heroic Vietnamese mothers who receive a monthly allowance, martyrs’ relatives who enjoy a monthly allowance, wounded and sick soldiers who lost from 81% of their working capacity, and those who participated in the war and were infected by toxic chemicals and lost from 81% of their working capacity. The presents worth VND 200,000 each will also given to different groups of revolutionary contributors, including wounded soldiers whose working capacity was lost below 80%. Each year, o­n the occasion of the wounded soldiers’ and martyrs’ day, the State President gives presents to revolutionary contributors, showing the Party and State care for the wounded soldiers and martyrs’ families.
