The DOLAB said Taiwan (China) employed the largest number of Vietnamese guest workers at 23,673, followed by the Republic of Korea (RoK) with 14,134, Malaysia with 6,664, and Japan with 4,170.
In August alone, the country sent 6,178 workers abroad, including 3,169 to Taiwan, 778 to Malaysia, 643 to Japan, and 593 to the RoK.
According to the MoLISA, exporting labour will continue to be its main policy for creating jobs in the coming years.
