Two 100 sqm screens will be installed at Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Cities to help more than 30,000 fans in the “Fanfest event” watch and cheer matches of the Vietnamese U23 football men’s team at the upcoming 26th SEA Games.
The program “Fanfest withTeam U23 at the 26th SEA Games” is the first football festival in Vietnam held by the Saigon-Gia Dinh Sport Development Corporation and the Vietnam Football Media Company at the Hoa Lu Stadium in HCMC and the Giang Vo Exhibition Centre in Hanoi.
The festival, to start off from November 5th with the match between the U23 teams from Vietnam and Myanmar and then the semi-final and final matches on November 19th and 21st, respectively, will be broadcast live on Football TV and Sports TV channels.
Furthermore, the event will also draw many popular actors and actresses, singers, football experts and former players from the Vietnamese team.
Besides, the organising panel will hold several sideline activities, such as voting for Ha Long Bay as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World or art performances to encourage the Vietnamese team.
At the opening ceremony of the Fanfest, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnamese Football Fans’ Association, Tran Song Hai, handed over to Team U23 a lucky jersey and a board “U23 Vietnam-Great Success”.
Previously, the Fanfest’s panel presented VND 50 million to the program “Let’s build Truong Sa (Spratly)”.
