“Our village rice” installation exhibition to open in France

Dominique Miscault, a French artist will open an installation exhibition, “Our village rice”, at the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France on March 17th.

Dominique Miscault, a French artist will open an installation exhibition, “Our village rice”, at the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France on March 17 th .

Based on French version of 37 poems of poet Tran Dang Khoa translated by Michele Sullivan and Hoang Thi Phuong, artist Dominique drew and organised rice seeds on the foundation of villages in the North of Vietnam.

At the opening ceremony, singer Alain Vu Hoang Mi will perform poems by poet Tran Dang Khoa in Vietnamese and in French.

Born in Thai Nguyen city in 1957 and lived in Paris since 1978, the talented singer has annual performances in Vietnam, presented scholarships to excellent Vietnamese students as well as organised musical festivals in France and in countries in Europe.

The exhibition will last until April 4 th .
