Global Beauties on Wednesday announced on its website that Miss Earth 2012 will be hosted in Phan Rang-Thap Cham City in the central province of Ninh Thuan, reports Lao Dong.
Vietnam’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and Nguyen Cong Khe, chairman of Thanh Nien Media Corp., and leaders of Ninh Thuan Province recently attended the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the host province and the organizers of next year’s international beauty contest.
Thanh Nien Media Corp. will invest US$10 million to construct a 2,000-seat Coral theater named ‘The stage of beauty’ which is set to be completed by August next year. The multipurpose theater will be built on a four hectare site at the city’s marine park.
Miss Earth 2012 is set to take place in Phan Rang in December next year.
