A must-see destination of Ben Tre
When tourists go to Ben Tre Province, about 85km from HCMC, they will have a chance to visit orchards, crisscross canals and historical and cultural relics.
Apart from ancient pagodas, Cai Mon Church is an attraction, especially for the Catholic. The church belongs to Cai Mon Parish, one of the oldest parishes in the Mekong Delta. It was built by Gernot, a French Catholic priest, in 1872.
The church yard is embellished with bonsai and ornamental plants. And when the bell on the church tower tolls in the twilight, visitors will have a peace-of-mind feeling.
