PANO - A new diary, “Aspiration for life and love”, by martyr Bui Kim Dinh, was made public on June 24 th in Ho Chi Minh City by the martyr’s family and the Thanh Nien Newspaper.
The 12-volume diary in 700 pages, written from 1964 to 1972, showed emotion and ideal of a generation for the cause of national liberation and unification.
Martyr Bui Kim Dinh was born in 1944 in Hac Tri district (present Viet Tri city), Phu Tho Province and died on June 4 th , 1972 in Quang Tri battlefield. From 1964 to 1972, he wrote his diary, including notes, poems, letters and articles about training, combating as well as feeling and living ideal of his generation at that time.
Attentively, 13 poems in his diary were adapted for music by musicians in an album, “Aspiration for life and love”.
