HCMC - Sony Electronics Vietnam on Saturday unveiled its new Vaio T Series Ultrabook at Vaio Ultrabook show in Crescent Mall of Phu My Hung town in HCMC.

The Vaio T series comes with two models – T11 and T13, which sell for VND19 million and VND21 million per unit respectively. The difference between the two is their screen size, with the T11 having an 11.6 inch display and the T13 a 13.3 inch display that uses LED backlit screens that are thin and lightweight.

The new ultrabook comes with an Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge Processor, a Blu-ray reader, 500GB of HDD space, and a 13.1-inch HD display with 1,366×768 display resolution. Consumers have the option of choosing an SSD for storage, or a hybrid drive which features both HDD and SSD technologies. Other features include two USB ports (including a charging function for mobile devices), HDMI out, VGA, Ethernet, a Sony Memory Stick reader and an SD card reader.

You also get 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive (with the option to go for an SSD), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The battery is said to last up to nine hours with the SSD model.
