Nhan Dan – Ho Chi Minh City welcomed nearly 275,000 international visitors in April, according to the city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Approximately 242,000 tourists arrived by air, which was 10% more than the same month last year.
In the first four months of this year, 1.2 million foreigners visited the city, an increase of 9% compared to the same period last year and reaching 32.9% of this year’s target.
The city’s total revenue from tourism hit VND5,800 billion this month and a total of VND23 trillion in the first four months, accounting for 33.8% of the 2012 target.
